It was a busy weekend for the men and women behind the scenes at Maidenhead United as the Vanarama National League club announced three new signings and a host of contract extensions.

On Sunday, the club confirmed a number of players had signed contract extensions at York Road, including captain Alan Massey having announced three new names on Saturday.

The Magpies strengthened with a new striker, midfielder and defender, the latter being 6’4″ ex Woking defender Manny Parry where last season he played 18 times for the Surrey side who finished 10th.

In midfield, it’s a second ex-Card in 23-year-old Shaun Donnelian after 27 appearances at Kingfield last season. The midfielder has been capped by Republic of Ireland at under 19 and under 21 level and had EFL experience with Walsall and Yeovil Town.
