Thames Valley Premier League club Berks County have announced their first signings ready for the 2020/21 season.

County, who were top of the Thames Valley Premier League before it was called to a halt, have signed five new players as they look to emulate their success of the 2019/20 season.

The five players are goalkeeper James Nevard, youngster Kai Nobbs, experienced John Swift, former Binfield Development player Dom Lyons as well as the returning Owen Powell.

Lee Simpson and Ellis Woods’ Berks County have already started their pre-season friendly schedule. They lost to Hellenic League Division Two club Yateley United in a behind closed doors friendly last Saturday.

Lee Simpson and Ellis Woods appeared with Rob and Tom on the Berkshire Football Stories Podcast during lockdown. Listen to it here.
