Slough Town forward Dan Roberts is to leave the Vanarama National League South side this summer, the club has revealed.

Roberts signed on a dual registration with step 5 Windsor after a breakout season for the Royalists in 2018/19 and went on to star for Slough, signing permanently in the summer of 2019.

He played 58 times for Slough scoring 13 goals in the process including a hat-trick at Dorking Wanderers in February 2020.

A statement released on the Rebels website says: “Dan Roberts has today left Slough Town, having been offered a good opportunity with another club in our league who are looking to announce this next week.

“We would like to thank Dan for his efforts with Slough Town over the last two seasons and wish him the best for the future.”

Roberts appeared on the Berkshire Football Stories podcast in April 2020. Listen to the full episode below.
