Maidenhead United’s top scorer for 2020/21 will not return to York Road next season after being snapped up by EFL League Two side Harrogate Town.

Orsi scored 18 times for the Magpies in 38 appearances after joining the club last summer from Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Speaking to the BBC Sport website, Orsi said: “I’ve heard great things about the club and the area so I’m really happy to be here and get the deal done.

“I know I had to work hard to get here, I’m just going to have to work doubly hard to stay here and help the team.”

Speaking to the Harrogate Advertiser, Orsi’s new manager Simon Weaver said: “He’s an intelligent footballer, who will run in behind and stretch defences and a lad who we believe still has plenty of growth in him.

“His record last season was very impressive and the thing I really like is that he scored plenty against the better teams in the National League. All of his goals weren’t against the bottom third, he did the business against some really good sides.”
