Reading Women have made another signing from relegated Bristol City with right-back Faye Bryson signing from the club.
Bryson began her career at Everton having been there from a youngster, making her full-debut at the age of 17. She then joined FAWSL club Bristol City at the start of the 20/21 season. Bryson describes herself as a right-back/wing-back who likes to attack so is perhaps made from the same mould as current Reading player Rachel Rowe.
She is also a player who can grab the team a goal having scored an excellent left-footed volley in a comeback draw against Aston Villa last season.
Kelly Chambers now has a decent selection of players at the back after the signings of Gemma Evans and Bryson. The emergence of young players like Kiera Skeels and Bethan Roberts should also strengthen a back-line that has lost the likes of Molly Bartrip in recent months.
