Binfield midfielder Kensley Maloney joins Met Police

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South side Met Police have signed midfielder Kensley Maloney from Binfield according to reports.

Maloney only re-joined Binfield in November from Harrow Borough but has now linked up with former Moles teammate Liam Ferdinand at Imber Court. He made his debut on Saturday in the 3-1 win over Swindon Supermarine.

The Met are second in the division behind Farnborough who they face at Imber Court on Tuesday night.

The blues also boast former Bracknell Town striker Jonathan Hippolyte in their ranks while Ferdinand leads the scoring charts with 11 goals.

Maloney played 12 times this season for the Moles, scoring once in the 3-2 win at Sutton Common Rovers.

While Maloney departs, Binfield have strengthened in recent weeks with the additions of Gabriel George and Christian Rowe.

Both players have come in from Slough Town with George on a loan and Rowe on dual-registration. More details on the Isthmian League website here.
