Bracknell Town FC have appointed Dave Ward as ladies club manager.

Ward was previously first team manager for the women’s team at Larges Lane and returns after several successful seasons with AFC Wimbledon where he helped the club to promotion to the Women’s Premier League South East Division 1 and the Surrey County Cup in 2015.

Ward’s role at Larges Lane will see him overseeing the direction of the club and in the first team dugout alongside Sean Haynes until the end of the season. The Robins target is to remain in the Southern Region Women’s Premier League.

The move is part of the ladies clubs full integration into the men’s setup at Bracknell giving them access to training and coaching at the redeveloped Larges Lane facility.

Bracknell Town are currently bottom of the SRWFL Premier and were beaten 4-0 by Marlow on Sunday.
