Snow forces postponement of all Sunday’s local women’s matches

Woodley United and Ascot United Ladies have already cancelled their Southern Region Women’s Football League matches with more expected to follow.

In addition, Reading Women’s trip to Yeovil Ladies in the FA WSL1 has been postponed while Ascot were due to travel to Winchester City Flyers and Woodley we’re hosting their reserves at a snowed in Bulmershe Pavilion (pictured above).

We understand there will be a pitch inspection at Ascot United’s Racecourse Ground ahead of their reserves tie with Sandhurst Town while Binfield Ladies home friendly with Wantage Town has gone.

Here’s what we know so far:

Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division

  • Winchester City Flyers P-P Ascot United

SRWFL Jubilee Cup

  • Fleet Town P-P Wokingham & Emmbrook
  • Oxford City Nomads vs Wargrave
  • Woodley United P-P Winchester City Flyers Reserves

Thames Valley Counties Women’s League Division 2 East

  • Ascot Ladies Reserves P-P Sandhurst Town
