Ahead of Women’s Football Weekend on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November, Football in Berkshire’s podcast, Berkshire Football Stories is sitting down with Reading Women FC forward Lauren Bruton.

A Reading player since 2013, Lauren was part of the side that won the FA Women’s Super League 2 title in 2015 and subsequently promotion to the WSL where they finished fifth in 2018/19.

Lauren has also made nine England under 19 appearances and one for the Lionesses, her debut coming in the World Cup Qualifier against Kazakhstan on 4th September 2018.

FiB will be talking to Lauren about that title winning season that has laid the groundwork for the Royals to build on in the top tier of women’s football in England, as well as her career, and we’d love to be able to put some questions to her from Football in Berkshire readers.

Reading FC Women host Bristol City Women’s FC at 12:30pm on Sunday 17th November at Madejski Stadium.
