Celebrate women and girls day at Maidenhead United

Maidenhead United Women will play host to Southampton Women FC in their Division One South West fixture on Sunday 20th, but the whole day at York Road is dedicated to the women and girl’s in the community.

An exciting fixture that could see Maidenhead leapfrog Southampton in the table should they pick up all three points. The Magpies currently sit sixth whilst Southampton occupy fifth. The Hampshire visitors do however have five games in hand due to their involvement in multiple cups this season.

Event schedule

The first 50 people to visit the information table at the event will receive a free goodie bag.

The Dash Charity

The event is free to attend for all, but they will be collecting on the day for The Dash Charity. The Dash Charity is a charity based in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire who support people experiencing domestic abuse. Dash stands for ‘domestic abuse stops here’. Their mission is ‘We will educate and empower people to understand, recognise & respond to Domestic Abuse. We will lead a zero tolerance community and provide a spectrum of specialist services to meet need.’ You can find out more information about the charity and their work here.

Can’t make it to York Road? There’s plenty of other games across Berkshire to attend, a full fixtures list is available here.
