Well we’re chuffed to bits. And maybe this is an odd thing to report on and possibly a little bit self-indulgent, but Football in Berkshire was featured on the final episode of the One Team, One Dream: This Is Chelsea women’s football documentary series on Sunday night.
Produced by DAZN, the six part series charted the highs and lows of Chelsea Women between 2019 and 2021 and includes plenty of Fran Kirby, but also charts the story of defender Deanne Cooper’s move to Reading FC Women.
It’s brief – and perhaps only we’d know it was us – but Football in Berkshire’s article is used to illustrate the news of Cooper’s departure and you can watch it below.
Speaking of Kirby, the episode all but ends with some sumptuous football from the England forward in a heavy defeat of Reading as Chelsea won the title with a 5-0 win – Kirby scoring twice and playing a superb pass on for Sam Kerr to score.
