Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East side AFC Aldermaston have moved quickly to appoint Dave Tuttle as first team manager on Sunday 20th October.

The Atom Men parted company with boss Declan Jacob on Friday with the club in 11th place and just two league wins in 10 games.

He was also previously chief scout at MK Dons and in charge of the youth setup at Swindon Town.

A statement on Tuttle’s arrival, released by the club says: “AFC Aldermaston are extremely pleased to announce that Dave Tuttle has joined the club as First Team Manager.

“Chairman Martin Desay states he is pleased to attract a manager of Dave’s calibre and experience to the club. He has managed and played for clubs from all levels of football. We are excited to have this opportunity to work together build and a great future for the club.”

First up for Tuttle in the AFC Aldermaston hot seat will be a trip to Kidlington Development on Tuesday 22nd October, a Division One East fixture.
